The Wharf is back! With summer now in full swing and the pent-up frustrations of recent months behind us, there’s a sense of excitement at The Wharf as we return to business with new determination, a desire to do even better.
Not many people know this, but the Wharf’s waterfront Café Oasis is not just for dinner, it’s also now a stunning breakfast setting for the first time. Call it brunch if you like, but this is no buffet. It’s an all-day dining experience, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with full menus featuring the tasty range of dishes The Wharf is famous for, as well as some new additions.
Speaking of new additions, make sure to try our exclusive Wharf House Blend coffee, also available freshly vacuum-packed to purchase and take home to enjoy whenever you want. It’s a heady blend of Columbian, Costa Rican, and Brazilian beans, exclusive to The Wharf.
Kids already love their own space close with their uniquely designed menu while the grown-ups enjoy the oceanfront setting. With the new addition known as ‘Kids Courtesy Corner’, The Wharf has a new focus on keeping the kids happy, with new activities and a range of kid-friendly smoothies and freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices that are healthy, delicious and not loaded with sugar. The kids’ menu now also includes special Kids Coffees, Kids Teas, which are caffeine-free, Kids Chocolate, with cookies, coloring books and crayons to keep them occupied.
To this area, there’s a little closet added for the youngsters to hang out, with dress-up costumes and other distractions to keep the kiddies entertained while their parents can watch sports on the large TV or just hang out with a coffee in The Wharf’s relaxing and air-conditioned Ocean Room.
A dinner is always an event at The Wharf, where the emphasis is on showcasing the freshest Cayman Islands produce from local farmers and fishermen. Multiple daily specials feature the best seasonal offerings, so menus can change daily, and there’s always something different to try. If snacks and cocktails are more your style, there’s also good news: Happy Hour is a daily event from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where everything on the tapas menu is half price. At weekends, where at The Wharf, it’s called ‘Weekenders’ cocktails are just CI$5. Tarpon feeding has been all-time favorite activity.
Tuesday night is always Salsa Night at The Wharf. This popular weekly event begins at 9:30 PM, led by salsa expert and instructor Quiana. After many weeks of enforced absence, Salsa Night returned in July to great enthusiasm. Join us next week for a fun and energetic post-lockdown dance workout.
Weekends see yet more changes at The Wharf. A brand new Weekends Brunch & Dinner menu has been introduced, with a three-course meal available all day long from 10:30 AM at the excellent price of just CI$28 per head. Diners have a choice of either roast beef or roast salmon as the main course, as well as a salad starter and black forest cake and iced cappuccino to finish.
